Statement from Sharon Hawkshawe
I have always loved to paint. My preferred mediums are oil and acrylic on canvas. I enjoy abstracting landscapes by manipulating color and distorting the physical images. I also derive great pleasure from modern or emerging art. I like getting lost in the canvas and allowing it to direct my journey. My paintings speak singularly to those who care to engage.
